VIVIAN PITMAN
In spite of the cold weather we had a great crowd at Vivian's opening last night. Many collectors who had gotten pieces from past shows came back to see her new work focusing on black history. The doll sculptures drew the most attention, and they were snapped up 2, 4, even 6 at a time!
Some sharp eyed clients spotted some recent acquisitions on the shelves... particularly carvings by ELIJAH PIERCE and POPEYE REED.
Thanks to everyone who came, and for those who could not make it the show will be up through March 21st.
